I'm sitting on my deck at 5:06 am; it's 52°F/11°C, humid but calm, and the stars and planets seem brighter than usual (Jupiter in particular, just risen over the trees, could almost cast shadows all on its own). I'm fortified against the cool weather with a hoodie, a snifter of vanilla cognac, and this, Helge's lovely final album... and I am at peace. I feel genuinely soothed in a way I haven't felt in such a long time. Sincere thanks to all who helped see this album through to its release.

It's late, and I'm listening after his death... everything is still, cats & children sleeping...quiet, apart from the rattle of the temperamental freezer...I sip hemp tea, finish some white toast, put down the book & listen... Beautiful tonal waves, washing the beached silence...I could stand in this kitchen, staring into the dark lightening, hearing the birth of the new morning in these sounds... There's a new morning & another journey for us all...Let this take your hand, lead the first step..
